​About Us
​Forge Meadow Caravan and Motorhome Site is a spacious approved adult only Caravan and Motorhome Club CL site in Wittersham, near the towns of Tenterden in Kent and Rye in East Sussex.
* The site lies within our 38 acre property and comprises a mowed field with views across the paddocks. 
* Each pitch has electric hook up and its own water tap for individual supply to your own caravan.
* The site opens straight out into a large open field with direct access to the many footpaths around our countryside making it ideal for those that enjoy walking.
* We are ideally situated away from the main road, halfway between the two historic towns of Tenterden (also famous for its steam railway) and Rye, and about half an hour from the lovely sandy beach at Camber Sands. There are a number of National Trust properties in this part of Kent/East Sussex, the nearest being Smallhythe Place just 2 miles down the road and which is also sited opposite the renowned Chapel Down Vineyard who provide vineyard and winery tours, a fine dining restaurant and shop. 

Further afield but still within drivable distance are Canterbury, Dover, Brighton, Eastbourne, Hastings and Lewes to name but a few.

For those that enjoy dining out we are fortunate to have many pubs and restaurants in Tenterden, Rye and the surrounding villages. 

There is a small village shop for groceries and newspapers as well as a bus stop providing transport to both Rye and Tenterden.

Forge Meadow is open from 14th April until15th October.
